Hello RokuShi fans! It's that time of the year again!! Bear with my 10 min doodle LOL All the art block right now. But RokuShi Day is coming soon, June 20th to be exact, and this will be our 3rd year celebrating the occasion here! I'm looking forward to seeing all the contributions so let's make it as successful as the past two years hehe. Forgive me as I'm just going to copy/paste the rest of the journal from last year as it does the job explaining.
This day comes only ONCE a year so if there's ever a time to show your love, what better time than on their day <3 To keep it easy and simple to understand, I'll just copy and paste from our FAQ about the day here for any concerns.
--- the reasoning behind june 20thProbably the most asked question. When RokuShi Day was being decided, the nominations for the day had to include a special meaning towards the pairing and the meaning behind the winning day June 20th is as follows:
'It's the 171st day of the year and in the game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Day 171 is titled Love.'
--- faq regarding the dayQ: Is this an official day?A: This day is a day decided by fans for fans. So no, it is not official in the way that is was allocated by Square Enix or something. It is entirely fanmade as are all fan days. The day was also decided on deviantart and the celebrations are thus mostly concentrated on this site although other places such as youtube and tumblr have been known to celebrate it too. We encourage you to spread the knowledge of this day on other sites also!
Q: How do I participate in this day?A: Basically, you simply draw fanarts, write fanfictions or make some sort of fanwork of Roxas/Xion specifically to celebrate this day. You can see past RokuShi Day entries here as an example:
[link]Q: How much can we make and submit for the day?A: As many as you want!! The more the better! There is literally never too much and we encourage all members to prepare as much as they can for this day as it only happens once a year. Show the love for Roxas/Xion! All works will also be featured by the group.
Q: Is there any theme or guidelines we have to follow in our pieces?A: No! Everything is entirely up to you. However you want to draw/write/make anything of these two is fine as long as it is RokuShi and doesn't break any DA rules.
Q: Will late entries be accepted?A: Of course! It's highly encouraged if you upload on the day to help contribute to a RokuShi-filled day but late entries wont be rejected. Early entries such as for countdowns are also accepted. As long as it was made FOR the day, it will be accepted into the 'RokuShi Day 2013' folder.
